Brisbane Gold coast water theives beware.
On 25-10-2007 at 11:56 to 12:07 opposite AAE on Milaroo drive Helensvale we witnessed a suspicious action by a recyled water carrier registration number 361 JKM Phone number 0415 651 228 or so we thought. What would you think if you drove past a truck advertising they sell recycled water which was hooked up to and filling up from a fire hydrant?
And that is not all once this person realised we were taking his details he quickly uncoupled from the fire hydrant packed up and high tailed it out of Milaroo drive as quick as possible.
Upon calling the Gold coast city council the operator said something about a free standing unit being alright to use and that they just require you to provide rego number of the potentially offending vehicle time and place. The operator was pleased we got the phone number as he felt that the area this truck was filling from and actions he took were suspicious and would contact him to advise of the proper instructions this person should follow.
However we are doing one better to help the community and that is publishing a photo array or video to shame these water theives. We request you do the same that is upload your video to google video or youtube the same thing with your photos but send your photos to Flickr or Photobucket & leave your REPORT OF THE INCIDENT & comments here with a link. Do the report here first if you can, then refer the council to it by calling 0755 828 211 or Gold coast water 1300 366 692. By doing this the council will eventually learn they have friends in cyberspace. You never know they may even offer rewards.
Together we can shame these water theives out of business we hope. A couple of things though that you should consider.

It I believe is unfair that Myspace in Parkwood that I pay thousands of $$$$ a year to live in is constantly bombarded by noise. Whilst trying to work sometimes I have to put up with kids as young as 8 to 10 years old calling out profanities about their bodies such as when you used to play doctors & nurses, WITHOUT any adult supervision or CORRECTION mind you. These children have only known a screaming environment though, due to this sort of conditioning this is why they call out loudly I understand.
